The I-League Professional Football Club Association, who met today in Mumbai, isn’t only looking at confrontation as the way forward with IMG-Reliance and the AIFF. Unlike in its press release, the IPFCA later in a press briefing spoke about talks and finding solutions to promote the sport in the country. The IPFCA is open to talks with IMG-Reliance about the release of players and signing on loan IMG-R contracted players, but the management company would have to convince the clubs that the new league, which they see as a big money venture, is in the interest of Indian football and the clubs....

Los Angeles, Mar 22 (AFP) Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed for the Los Angeles Galaxy and could make his debut for the Major League Soccer side this month, Sports Illustrated reported today. Hours after reports in Britain said Ibrahimovic had played his last game for Manchester United, Sports Illustrated reported on its website the Swedish star had inked a deal with the Galaxy.
